Spring Break has come and gone too quickly. I'm happy to report that, thanks to Frontier Airlines and its wonderful employees, our flights to and from Colorado were uneventful. The attendants managed to get us seats together and brought warm cookies to the girls.
Our time in Colorado was all about family. We had dinner with Pam, Jordan and KatyAnn. The girls were thrilled to spend time with their baby cousin. It was like having a living doll. They couldn't keep their hands off her.

On Saturday, we celebrated Bronwyn's birthday with a luncheon at a delicious Chinese restaurant.

On Sunday, Lacey was baptized at Mount Hope Lutheran Church in Boulder. Cassie played her violin at the beginning of the service. Pastor Hesse made the baptism very special. Lacey later asked me, "Everybody do this just one time? Anybody can do it again?"

We got to spend time with Mary Lee, Haley and Jayden too. The girls had a difficult time keeping up with Jayden. But, He does stand still for the camera!

We had a wonderfully relaxing time. The girls spent a lot of time playing in "the doll room." We also did some crafting and cooking with "Oma." We visited the used bookstore. We played outside and cut fresh flowers. We watched the kitty eat and sleep. The only things missing were Susan and Ken.
Of course, Dave was there for the weekend too. He merits a separate blog entry!!
On Thursday, Les stayed home with the girls while I went to the grocery store. This was my first time alone in a week and I was going to cherish every moment of the experience. I had only been gone five minutes when Cassie called to tell me that her glasses had broken. Yeah, I guess Spring Break is over!
